Bei den Musical Munchkins, Music through English - English through Music, haben schon ganz kleine Kinder Spaß an Musik und der englischen Sprache.

Isabella Tabibian, einer ausgebildeten amerikanischen Pianistin und Gründerin von MusicalMunchkins.at, ist die Ausbildung der Kinder ein besonderes Anliegen.

The program is not simply a technique, not just a class, not just playtime. It is a teaching method based on the premise that in their early stages, children learn many things simultaneously: music, speech, language, and social skills and they are not separate activities to them. Music through the English language and language through music. Notes, songs, instruments, rules, patterns, sequence, structure, participation are naturally learned together.

Bei Musical Munchkins wird die Vermittlung frühkindlicher Musikerziehung als auch Englischunterricht kombiniert. Spielerisch machen die Kinder durch Musikspiele und Zahlen- und Rhythmusspiele in einfachem Englisch erste Erfahrungen in der Interaktion zwischen Schüler und Lehrer und erlernen die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Kindern basierend auf simplen Regeln.

Der Begriff „Munchkins“ ist der englische Ausdruck für ein kleines Kind und entspricht dem deutschen „Zwerglein“. Es ist aber auch der Originaltitel des amerikanischen Märchens „Der Zauberer von OZ“.
